Standing Desk Cable Checklist
A regular desk can hide a lazy cable path. A standing desk exposes it because the desk moves.
- Lower the desk and note where cables collect.
- Raise the desk fully and watch for pulling or snagging.
- Keep power strips and heavy cables supported.
- Leave a movement loop where needed.
- Use clips for cable ends, not heavy bundles.
- Avoid adhesive-only solutions for anything that carries too much weight.
- Check clamp fit before ordering a no-drill tray.
Follow the product instructions and avoid overloaded or damaged electrical gear. A cable tray is an organizer, not an electrical safety fix.
